Almost all of our best work comes from real estate agents who have used us before. Your job is to grow that group in the eastern and harbourside markets.
The job in practice
- Meeting agents in their offices and at open homes
- Attending appraisals with agents and giving vendors an indicative preparation figure
- Running agent education sessions on what actually moves sale price
- Following up referred jobs so the agent feels looked after
- Feeding market intelligence back to operations
The honest version
The first three months are mostly rejection. Agents are pitched constantly and are rightly sceptical. The ones who try us tend to stay, but you have to get them to try us first. If that does not appeal, this is not the role.
What we are looking for
- Experience selling to or working with real estate agents
- Comfortable attending appraisals and speaking to vendors directly
- Able to explain return on investment without overpromising
- Self-directed - nobody will be managing your calendar
- Driver licence and your own vehicle
