Harbourside apartment, light and storage

A two-bedroom apartment that had been listed once before and withdrawn. The previous campaign photographed the apartment as it was lived in: dark, full, and reading as smaller than its floor plan. Nothing structural was wrong with it.

What we did

• Full declutter with off-site storage of the owner’s furniture
• Neutral repaint throughout, including the dated feature wall
• Every light fitting replaced and colour temperature standardised
• Window and balcony glass cleaned inside and out
• Full stage with correctly scaled furniture
• Balcony styled as a usable outdoor room

Why it worked

The apartment was never the problem. Scale was. Furniture that was correct for the previous home was too large for this one, and oversized furniture is the fastest way to make a room photograph small.
